User Experience Designer

Job Description

Role Overview:As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer at HCLSoftware, you will be an integral part of the Commerce product team. With over 5 years of proven expertise in user-centered design principles, UX research, and analysis, you will play a crucial role in solving complex design challenges. Your main responsibility will be leading the creation, evolution, and management of the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across product experiences. Your focus will be on building cohesive design foundations and delivering research-driven product experiences.Key Responsibilities:- Drive the end-to-end design system strategy by creating and maintaining scalable UI components, guidelines, and documentation.- Ensure the design system promotes consistent interactions, accessibility standards, and seamless collaboration between design and engineering teams.- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to facilitate organization-wide adoption of the design system.- Continuously assess and enhance the design system to align with emerging product needs, new technologies, and industry trends.- Conduct UX research through user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and competitive analysis to gain insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.- Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable design decisions and product improvements.- Generate intuitive and engaging design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as UX design, HCI, or related discipline.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.- Proficiency in UX research methodologies and tools for user testing and analysis.- Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Prior experience in developing and maintaining design systems is preferred.(Note: The additional details about HCLSoftwares mission and background have been omitted as they were not directly related to the job role.)
