Job Description

    The role of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Teacher at Nalanda Vidyaniketan in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh is to lead the teaching of Artificial Intelligence to secondary and senior secondary students. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, teaching experience, and the ability to make AI concepts engaging and accessible to school students.The key responsibilities of the AI Teacher include delivering the CBSE-prescribed AI syllabus for Classes 9-12, covering topics such as Machine Learning, Data Science, Natural Language Processing, and Neural Networks. The role involves conducting hands-on sessions using Python, AI project kits, Jupyter Notebooks, and other AI tools, as well as guiding students in capstone projects, AI-based innovations, and real-world applications aligned with CBSE guidelines. The AI Teacher will also be responsible for assessing learning outcomes through quizzes, assignments, and practical demonstrations, integrating technology platforms like Google Teachable Machine and MIT Scratch for beginner-friendly experiences, and collaborating with other departments to design interdisciplinary modules.The eligibility criteria for this position include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in AI or related technologies, familiarity with programming languages such as Python and tools like Jupyter Notebook and Google Colab, and knowledge of concepts like Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and basic Deep Learning. Candidates with prior experience with CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE curriculum are preferred.The selection process for the AI Teacher position at Nalanda Vidyaniketan involves a written test to evaluate AI fundamentals and Python programming, a practical round where candidates demonstrate hands-on AI models or lessons, a demo class showcasing the pedagogical approach to explain AI to students, and an interview focusing on curriculum alignment, communication skills, and innovation mindset.The salary range for this role is between 25,000 to 35,000 per month based on the candidates experience and expertise. This is a full-time, on-campus position with day shifts at the Vijayawada campus. Candidates willing to relocate will be given preference, and excellent English communication skills are required for this role.,
