Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Reservoir Analysis and Planning:Analyzing geological data and reservoir characteristics to determine the best methods and locations for oil and gas extraction.
• Drilling and Extraction Design:Designing drilling plans, equipment, and techniques for safely and efficiently extracting resources from both conventional and unconventional sources.
• Production and Operations Management:Overseeing drilling and production operations to ensure equipment functions properly, production goals are met, and facilities operate safely.
• Enhanced Recovery:Developing and implementing enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods to increase production from existing or older wells.
• Collaboration and Coordination:Working closely with geologists, other engineers, field teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless and effective project execution.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance:Ensuring that all operations adhere to strict safety standards and environmental regulations to minimize the ecological impact of extraction.
• Economic Evaluation:Conducting economic feasibility studies and cost analyses to ensure projects are profitable.
• Technical Reporting:Preparing detailed technical reports and presentations to document findings, progress, and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications
• Educational Background:A bachelors degree in petroleum engineering or a closely related field is typically required.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving abilities to assess complex situations and devise innovative solutions.
