Job Description

    As a Product Validation Tester for IoT products, you will be responsible for conducting validation tests encompassing hardware, software, and mechanical components. Your role will involve executing lab and field tests, documenting results, and collaborating closely with the Product Validation Manager to ensure that IoT devices meet quality and performance standards.You will conduct various tests including functional, performance, environmental, and mechanical tests for IoT products. This will involve both manual and automated testing for hardware and software components, as well as setting up and managing test equipment and environments according to the validation plan.Furthermore, you will be tasked with documenting and analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working with product development teams to resolve issues. Additionally, you will assist in real-world field tests to validate product performance under actual usage conditions and support compliance testing efforts.To be successful in this role, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics preferred) and have at least 3 years of experience in product validation or testing, ideally in the IoT or embedded systems domain. Strong familiarity with hardware and software testing methods is essential, along with proficiency in functional and environmental testing, IoT product testing techniques, problem-solving, and analytical skills.You will also need to possess skills in test equipment setup and management, test data analysis and reporting, communication, collaboration, and be familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks is desired, along with knowledge of IoT systems, communication protocols, automated testing frameworks, and mechanical components.This role primarily involves lab-based work with occasional field testing, within a collaborative work environment alongside cross-functional teams. As a Product Validation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of IoT products through thorough testing and validation processes.,
