Job Description

    As a Sales Manager specializing in channel and distribution sales, you will be based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on a full-time, permanent basis. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and drive sales operations in the region, ensuring the development and execution of effective sales strategies. You will play a crucial role in establishing a strong distribution network, managing key client relationships, and meeting growth targets specifically within the edible oil segment.Your key duties will include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, nurturing relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional clients, as well as conducting market analysis to stay abreast of competitors and adjust sales strategies accordingly. You will spearhead promotional activities and campaigns to enhance product visibility, forecast sales performance, and provide regular reports to the management. Negotiating pricing, contracts, and closing deals with potential customers will also be part of your core responsibilities. Moreover, ensuring compliance with all documentation and sales processes, expanding the brands presence in existing and new markets, and contributing to the overall growth of the business will be vital aspects of your role.To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, particularly in the oil or FMCG sector, is required. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the dynamics of the edible oil market in India. Additionally, a willingness to travel within the region as necessary is expected.If you have prior experience in sales of FMCG products or edible oil, we encourage you to apply. The work schedule is from Monday to Saturday, from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM. The position reports to the management and offers a salary range of 3.0 to 4.20 LPA plus incentives based on experience.
