Job Description

    Job Title: Site Safety / Health & Safety Engineer (HSE)Job Overview: We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Site Safety/Health & Safety Engineer (HSE) to ensure all site operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The HSE Engineer will be responsible for implementing safety programs, monitoring workplace conditions, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety across all project activities. This role requires strong leadership to guide workers, contractors, and management in maintaining safe practices and minimizing hazards.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and enforce site-specific safety policies, procedures, and emergency plans.
    • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
    • Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for staff and contractors.
    • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
    • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.
    • Coordinate with project managers to integrate safety measures into planning and execution.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
    • Certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard control, and emergency response planning.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
