    Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager C&I Solar to drive rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects of 300 kW and above. The role involves client acquisition, project development, and coordination with internal EPC teams across multiple states. The candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel as per client and project requirements.Key Responsibilities
    • Identify, develop, and close C&I solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects (300 kW)
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, industries, developers, and large commercial clients
    • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to project closure
    • Prepare and present technicalcommercial proposals, feasibility studies, and ROI models
    • Work closely with EPC, engineering, finance, and legal teams for smooth project execution
    • Strong understanding and selling of CAPEX, EPC, and OPEX (RESCO) business models
    • Coordinate site surveys and client meetings; travel to project locations as required
    • Track tenders, RFQs, and corporate opportunities within assigned state(s)
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy updates related to solar energy
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
    • 38 years of experience in C&I solar business development
    • Proven track record of closing solar projects above 300 kW (rooftop and/or ground-mounted)
    • Strong knowledge of EPC execution, CAPEX, and OPEX/RESCO models
    • Good understanding of commercial, technical, and financial aspects of solar projects
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
    • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state and nearby regions
    • Familiarity with state-level DISCOM policies, net metering, and open access is an advantage
    Preferred Candidate Profile
    • Experience working with solar EPC companies or IPPs
    • Strong local network with industries, consultants, and decision-makers
    • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
