Our Cleint an export-driven company and a government recognised export house from India manufacturing tropical trait purees and concentrates in aseptic, canned & frozen packaging. For us quality always comes first, whether it be in product or in the service. we are in a participant in the Voluntary Control System of SGF, Germany and is an approved supplier under the IRMA programme.Education and Experience:Candidate should be a B.Sc./M.Sc. with specialization in Agriculture/Horticulture.Knowledge in Tropical Fruits cultivation, harvesting is a must. Experience in working in Mango, Guava will be an added advantage.Candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented with analytical & problem-solving skills.Good Technical Knowledge Good managerial and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Pests, Pesticides & IPM practices Technical Training skills Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments Knowledge of various certification schemes Good communication and Proficiency with computers,Desired Candidate Profile : AGRICULTURE Knowledge of scientific & Good Agricultural Practices, Agro Sustainability Guidelines, Organic farming, Global Gap,1. Overall responsible for the implementation and execution of company policies regarding agricultural practices.2. Visit fruit growing areas, conduct surveys, collect data and formulate strategies as per the supply chain & customer requirements.3. Forecasting of the crop situation, providing inputs to Procurement team from time to time.4. Create a database of the pesticides being used by the farmer, suggest alternate approved pesticides as per the regulations of various countries.5. Stay updated on the regionwise MRLs and suitably advice the value chain and mitigate the risk that might arise thereafter.6. Formulate the Training program and provide training to subordinates and farmers wherever required.7. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including farming practices, Climate conditions, Crop progress report.8. Arrange and conduct Farmers programs; Technical & relationship development.9. Liaise with various stakeholders like Universities, Government departments, agronomy experts, Agri Input companies etc.SUSTAINABILITY: 10. Responsible for driving the Agro sustainability projects for various tropical fruits like Mango, Guava, Strawberry, Tomato.11. Should be well versed with the Agro Sustainability Guidelines like Rain Forest Alliance, SAI FSA platform.12. Interaction with various stakeholders on Sustainability Initiatives.(Internal & External)13. Knowledge of Contract Farming,ICD ( Integrated Crop Development),IPM ( Integrated Pest Management) ORGANIC:14. Responsible for establishing a supply chain of organic certified Fruits.15. Identify, Train and get the new farms certified as per Organic Certification requirements.GENERAL:16. Co-ordinate with procurement team.17. Responsible for coaching and guiding team members, setting goals and continuous development, conduct periodic and annual assessment18. Drive any other project activity as the need arises. 19.
