Job Description

    This role is with Symbiotic Business Outsourcing Pvt Ltd in New Delhi, India, which is an extension of Symbiotic Consulting Group LLC of USAWork Location: Mostly remote, working from home option available, also from New Delhi OfficeShift: Overlapping with USA Eastern Standard Time shiftThe key areas we are looking for are as follows:
    • Proficient in working with
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management
    • Experience with version controlling tools like
    • Experience with Database Designing, Query Optimization and Indexing of
    • Proficient with complex data integrations from sources such as Sybase, Oracle, SQL
    • Proficient in creating views and controllers to provide data for application like CRM, Cognos and SRSS.
    • Proficient in working with Microsoft
    • Experience with Hashing to index and retrieve items in
    • Should know database concepts like star schema, snowflake schema
    • Knowledge of working and migrating in different environments Development, Testing, Production etc.
    • Formulating Business requirements and translating it into technical
    • Leading BI software development, deployment, and
    • Report curation and data
    • Participation in a data warehouse
    • Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the applications organization to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals.
    • Interview stakeholders and develop roadmap for success given project prioritization and
    • Provide thought leadership in platform rationalization strategy, development organization structure and alignment.
    • Participates in the planning for retirement of systems programs, and migration of systems
    • Develop business cases and ROI for department to get buy-in from senior
    • Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery while helping to change Excel based
    Qualification:
    • Experience with Business Intelligence, Analytics and BI
    • Experience with BI Technology: SQL, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
    • Experience with different SQL versions from 2014 to 2019
    • Good to have Sybase Knowledge but not mandatory
    • Good to have Power BI Knowledge
    • Good to have knowledge of ER Studio.
    • Results and goals oriented with excellent work ethic, self-motivated and demonstrable experience managing through conflict.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing
    • Strong business acumen and willingness to learn business
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with peers in IT and business units to align development work/objectives with corporate goals and
    • Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies i.e., agile
    • Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal
    • Strong problem solving, time management and organizational
    • Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree Computer Science or Statistics
    • Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
    • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
    • Ability to work independently, and in
    • Able to collaborate with team and have a strong desire to excel.
    • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own
    • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. To be able to work with client personnel in USA directly and to be able to communicate with them.
