1. Rigging up and down, assisting the driller and derrick hand in maintenance and repair rig equipment Running in and Pull out drill pipe from the well bore, handling drill pipe, drill collars, slips and tongs when making or breaking up connections, Pin and box doping, Shoulder inspection
2. Assist in laying casing into a well after it has been drilled
3. Clean and maintain equipment
4. Perform housekeeping tasks (keep the drilling floor clean, paint or scrub around the rig.
