Job Description

*Title: MBOS_TestArchitecture Senior Test Engineer for automotive systemsExperience:

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in automotive system testing
Education & Training:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyse requirements and derive test cases for the various E/E components and functional parts of the systems to improve the overall coverage of test cases.
  • Design and structure the test cases in a special format which can be applied in the E/E testing pipeline
  • Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases for Manual and Automation Testing
  • Perform tests for both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Update the existing test cases based on Change Requests and defects logged by other users.
  • Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events.
  • Identifies software issues and transfers these issues into the defect tracking system with supporting log files and data.
  • Document test results and create test reports. Follows defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining test documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, other testers and automation engineers to improve test case management
Mandatory Skills:
  • Experience in testing of various automotive domains like Infotainment, ADAS, Powertrain and Body Electronics.
  • Thorough knowledge in Analysis of the requirements and Test Plan Development
  • Good understanding of various stages of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Expert in Test Management tools like HP ALM, JIRA & STARC
  • Experience in hardware setup and software flashing of various ECUs like HU, IC etc.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD tools like ADO/Jenkins
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Basic Knowledge of cloud infrastructure like MS Azure or AWS.
  • Exposure to multi-cultural environment, working experience in Germany is an added advantage
