With over 1,00,000 registered sellers, Flipkart has redefined the way brands and MSME s do business online.Senior System Engineer will be part of IT Infrastructure team that provides design, deployment support for systems, services and provide L2/L3 support to end points in Flipkart. The IT Infrastructure team is also responsible for managing heterogeneous environment generating metrics related to System performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, etc. Specific experience with Windows AD and Azure, Linux Virtualization is must with strong technical orientation creative in problem solving.Responsibilities and requirements:

• 6 years of experience with Windows 2012/2008 Server, Linux operating systems
• 2+ Years of experience with designing and operating infrastructure and application in physical and cloud environments
• Must have hands-on experience with at least any one of AWS,Microsoft Azure or OpenStack
• Familiarity with deploying and managing physical infrastructure environments and working with co-location service providers.Federated Security, SAML, Single Sign On, IAM etc.
• Knowledge of Network Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPCs, VPNs, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC address, IP Packets, DNS OSI Layers etc.
• Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures,defects and improving overall performance
• Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues participate in 24x7 on-call.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently
• Ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Managing the cloud mailing solutions like o365 or G.suite will be a plus

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with Windows 2012/2008 Server, Linux operating systems
• 3+ years hands on experience with Citrix Xen, KVM, VMware ESXi 4.x,vSphere
• TCP/IP networking, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, IMAP , CIFS, NFS, iSCSI
• Expert scripting skills in one of the following languages (Expect, Shell,Perl, Python, Powershell,VBScript)
• Experience in SQL is plus
• Diploma, BE in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent required
