Job Description

    *At Trucks & Buses - MBRDI, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about building best in-class products for digital cockpit Instrument clusters and infotainment units. This position involves designing and developing robust and scalable HMI applications with teams spread across the globe. Team member should be aware of the challenges and constraints of embedded HMI Development, upcoming trends in automotive technologies, design and code complex requirements in a structured approach using high level programming languages. Team should be flexible to adapt to new trends in software development like NLP, Machine Learning, Cloud Development , CI/CD or DevOpsEducation: BE/ MCA in Electronics / Computer scienceExperience: Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in automotive software development of HMI applications for IVI / telematics units/digital clusterRole & responsibilities: Develop UI software for Embedded HMI Products in Android platform Creating custom Android widget and good expertise in usage of native android widget Integration of views created by third party UI tool chain like kanzi, Flutter, QT etc in native android studio based application Design and implement necessary HMI abstraction logic required by ViewModel Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable application code(java, c++, kotlin etc). Tuning the UI performance, Identifying the bottlenecks and proposing corrective measures Deliver the software package as per process and policy defined by the scrum team Actively interact with scrum master on the task on daily basis Actively contribution to project based on the current UI trends Creative & Innovation mindset in execution of his/her tasksTechnical Skills: Experience in java, Kotlin, C++, Strong knowledge in android SDK and version migration, Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks Object oriented software development experience with strong understanding in design patterns and architectural components of android framework Experience in developing testable software using Junit, Espreso, Clean Architecture etc Hands on with AOSP is a plus. Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines Experience in android build environment like Gradle, Mavem etc. and scriping language like Python, JS Excellent working experience in android APP tool chains like Andoid Studio, Xamarin, Flutter, Preferably in Android Studio Experience in any one configuration management tool - RTC, Clearcase, Git ,PlasticSpecific Knowledge: (Skill / Languages etc.) Excellent communication Passionate on series HMI development , *
