ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is inline with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs,database development standards, implementation and management of datawarehouses and data analytics systems. Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan fordata management that is aligned with organizational data strategy. Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, andvendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system. Managing end-to-end data && BI architecture, from selecting the platform,designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finallytesting and implementing the proposed solution. Creating practices and standards on developing and perpetually maintainingbusiness intelligence reporting/visualization (e.g., Dashboards, KPIs) Implement data Architecture to develop and implement an enterprise DataWarehouse Solution in support of the single source of truth. The datawarehouse will serve as a centralized repository for multiple data sourcesfrom internal and external sources. Gather requirements from stakeholders, prepare Data WarehouseRequirements Document, and create Data Warehouse Design Document. Planning and execution of big data and data lake solutions using technologieslike Hadoop, NoSQL, Spark, S3, Hybrid etc. In fact, the big data architectroles and responsibilities entail the complete life-cycle management of a suchsolutions. Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, andsecurity. Conducting a continuous audit of data management system performance,refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes tothe stakeholders. Proactively identify business improvement and innovation opportunitiesthrough data and analyses Coordinating with business users to develop scripts, queries, or software codeto accomplish specific requirements or tasks. Experience with Developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery,and implementation of a databaseSkills and Qualifications RequirementsOverall 10+ years of experience in data. 8+ years of Data Modeling experience; Delivering both logical models andphysical designs. MPP technologies preferred. 8+ years of Advanced SQL Coding/Tuning Experience including hands-onmanagement of PostgreSQL, Oracle, or IBM DB2, involving implementation ofschemas, indexes, and query optimization 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Working with various internaland external stakeholders is strongly preferable. Effective communication and interpersonal skills Experience with SQL and stored procedures Understanding of Data Management/Metadata Management process andprinciples is essential. Helps develop data warehouse and strategic direction for the department. Experience with Cloud platforms for data warehousing Hands-on expertise in data warehousing and architecture, data modelling,master data, big data analytics, real-time analytics, and data visualization, andreporting Experience with advanced analytics languages like Python, R, NOSQL etc. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, orrelated field; Masters Degree preferred
