Job Description

    Job Title Data ScientistDepartment Planning && AnalysisReports toLocation GurgaonJob Purpose
    • Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for
    leveraging internal and external data to drive business solutions
    • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering
    techniques
    • Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
    • Use predictive modelling and optimization techniques to improve revenue
    • Undertake processing of structured and unstructured data
    • Deliver production ready models that can be deployed/integrated with the live
    systems
    • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data
    accuracy
    • Develop standardised regular and Ad-hoc reporting for various levels of management
    • Monitor project progress in conjunction with the project plan report risks, scope etc.
    in a timely manner
    • Identify and evangelise new and upcoming analytical trends in the market within the
    organisation
    • Resource development and mentoring team as we expand
    • Develop dashboards using Tableau / Google Studio / Power BI
    • Key Duties and Responsibilities
    • Knowledge of optimization techniques, machine learning, AI and advanced statistics
    and their real-world advantages / drawbacks.
    • Expertise in programming languages like Python, R && SQL and visualisation tools like
    Tableau, Power BI and Google Studio
    • Knowledge of databases and associated frameworks e.g. SQL, Hadoop etc.
    • Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
    • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, mathematical, economics, operational
    research or statistics
    • Expertise in big data technologies like PySpark, SPARK, Hadoop etc. and natural
    language processing will be a plusJob Description
