You ll be part of the Signify R&D Bangalore and its responsibilities are architecture, design, development and test automation, so Innovation and passion for technology must be in your DNA.What you ll doYour responsibilities You will be one of the Application engineering experts that form a team tailored for a specific mission.You contribute to fast realization of prototypes as well as effective product development, by applying deep engineering knowledge of the most relevant coding platforms and standards, in combination with proven Agile collaboration methods and test-driven development.As Applications Developer in the Cloud Applications group You will actively contribute to all aspects of agile software development: development, configuration management, testing, integration, validation, and documentation You will take improvement initiatives with regard to technological improvements, and perform future-oriented studies with other specialists You are recognized by peers because of your technical competencesWhat you ll need

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or informatics (requirement)
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in developing of web application and services (requirement)
  • At least 3 years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript(requirement)
  • An interest and preferably working experience in Object Oriented JS, Responsive layouts, Performance optimizations, WebWorkers
  • Experience in Angular, RxJS , JQuery, NGRX Concepts
  • Strong knowledge on Charting libraries C3/D3/Billboard js is desirable
  • Experience with JS testing libraries like Mocha, Jasmine, Karma ,Qunit,
  • Working experience in TDD/BDD is also advantage
  • An interest and preferably working experience in agile development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe )
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)
  • A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills. A problem solving and pragmatic attitude
  • A good understanding of the web and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge)
  • Experience with the terminal (git, npm, yarn, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software development patterns
  • Experience with server-side rendered applications
  • Active contributions to open source projects and organizations is advantage
