Job Description

Position title DevOps ArchitectLocation: Bangalore Global Delivery ServicesJob purpose:

  • Architect in the IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of Cloud Technology based projects for our customers across the globe.
Your Technical responsibilities: (part of description)
  • Utilize various open source technologies to develop DevOps Scripts
  • Use various tools to orchestrate solutions
  • Build independent web based tools to automate
  • AWS & Azure Cloud
  • AWS Native DevOps Tools Code Pipeline, Code Deploy
  • Experience working with AWS & Azure SDK
  • Good Knowledge on Azure & AWS PaaS, SaaS and IaaS offerings
  • Good Knowledge on Azure & AWS Security
  • Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
  • Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop etc
  • Understand how various systems work on cloud
  • Understand how IT operations are managed
  • Manage source control including SVN and GIT
  • CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment
Requirements (Qualifications)We are looking for the candidates with the following:
  • BE/B.Tech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 12 - 14 years
Mandatory skills:
  • Directing and executing change programmes with a DevOps transition.
  • Defining change management strategy with the understanding of business drivers and strategic objectives, organisational behaviours, processes and approaches.
  • Stakeholder management, with the ability to operate and manage expectations on a senior management/executive level.
  • Tailoring the change management approaches based on the industry, current maturity and organisational set-up, and expected pace of transition.
  • Evaluating and improving business processes and business change management processes.
  • Experience & exposure to both Azure & AWS
  • Working experience on Maven & Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
  • MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop
  • Setting up AWS SQL knowledge
  • Microservices, Containers, Kubernetes
  • Deployment Strategies
  • CI/CD - End to End
  • Hands-on AWS / Azure experience
Preferred skills:
  • Hybrid/native mobile application development
  • Experience working on CMMI / Agile / SAFE methodologies

  • Manage a team of DevOps engineers
  • Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives
  • Ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements
