Job Description

    With this position we offerAs our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for architecture, design, development leveraging the frameworks & best practices.As a DevOps Engineer, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.Lead integration activities for development of product working with product, software engineering, quality engineering, Infosec and operationsDesign, develop, troubleshoot and implement CI/CD and Cloud provisioning & configuration.Develop infrastructure in accordance with standards and practices.Work with architects to gather requirements and design solutions for new projects.Work with engineering teams to create development processes for new projects.Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans.Streamlines and automates IT Operations & ProcessesIdentify, prescribe solutions and implement remediation as required by InfoSec findings.Serve as knowledge resource for advice and guidance on technical issues, both internally to the DevOps team and externally to other engineering teams.Maintain infrastructure, repair bugs, and respond to downtime in accordance with business continuity plan.Provide support for software engineering teams.Conduct all business in accordance with policies and procedures.Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.We expect you to have :Minimum 8 years of equivalent work experience.Must have worked on CI/CD with Gitlab or Jenkins (other tools) and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/AWS cloud formation templates.Expertise in working on OS (Unix/Linux) and Shell scripting. Container Technologies - Kubernetes, Docker.Exposure to Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ IDE.Nice to have knowledge on Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate.Good to have hands-on experience with UI Technologies like React, Web Components etc.Experience building large-scale business critical applications (Financial Sectors preferable).Bachelors degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.It would be great if you :Will hold further qualifications/certifications across a number of specialist disciplines relevant to role.Come as You AreNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
