Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Engineering for one of our esteemed Clients for Bangalore , India Location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for entire IT setup of the company, manage multiple projects across a wide breadth of technologies, coordinate dependencies and interactions with other internal teams and external partners. Develop strategic planning for the direction and control of product development activities. Formulate long- term objectives and standards of performance for the company/ unit. Assure the achievement of objectives and project completion within budget and time frame. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Project and Product Management teams for architectural, planning, implementation and testing. Deliver secure, high quality, well tested, and scalable software to meet requirements of the road map using your technical expertise in architecture, design and development. Assist teams in developing road maps for system and product growth, then identify, plan, and execute projects to support that growth. Closely monitor and guide product releases/ updates. Attract and retain top engineering talent and train and develop management and technical leaders within groups. Motivate staff and provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands- on project management, recognizing the role as that of both manager and support resource / mentor. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Overall 14 years of software engineering experience, at least the last 5 years in a senior technology / Managerial role. (Techno managerial) Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering from reputed institutes. Strong technical & product background with the ability to expand and lead a team of strong software engineers. Experience across the full product lifecycle design development, testing and Implementation. Experience with object oriented design patterns, strong understanding of full stack development in building complex, large- scale platforms. Provide leadership and execute technical strategy being a key driver contributing to the products roadmap and willing to take innovative product risk while balancing on time deliverables. Strong project management experience defining tasks, allocating tasks, work breakdown structure, planning resource requirements and project timelines. Strong team player with an energetic, pleasant personality; ability to work at a cross functional level and be comfortable with board level interaction. Excellent communication skills, an attitude to get things done and willingness to work in a high growth environment. ,
