Job Description

  • Manage a team of Network test automation engineers responsible for qualifying a release
  • Closely work with various stakeholders to understand the test requirementsand formulate a teststrategy to thoroughly automate all aspects
  • Get to 100% Automation coverage with theability to do full release qualification in aweek enabling quicker release of product features and maintenance patches
  • Identify test automation improvements based on field issues and quickly get them into full validation cycle
  • Data driven approach totrack release progress, effort scoping and to identify areas of improvements
  • Hands onengagementreviewing test plans, test scripts, definingteststrategy and triaging of defects with engineers across Development and Testing
  • Working with vendors to outsource some aspects of Testing and Automation
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in testing and automation of networking products with at least 2 years of experience in managing and growing an Automation driven test team
  • Strong experiencedoing Automation of TCs and good understanding ofAutomation frameworks
  • Decent understanding of Networking concepts and working experience inL2 Switching, L3 Routing,BGP, OSPF, NAT, Firewalls,IPSEC.
  • Familiarity with well-knownhypervisorslikeESXi, KVM,exposure to public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of full product life cycle, software development methods (both Agile and Waterfall), and development and build environments
  • Ability to organize, delegate, and effectively deliver to large and complex programs
  • Conflict resolution skills including the ability to bridge style differences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
  • Able to demonstrate effective teamwork both within the immediate team and across teams.
  • Self-driven, self-motivated individual with ability to multi-task
  • BS/BE in CS or EE, MS strongly preferred
