Job Description

We are now looking for an Engineering Technician!

You will be part of a team that is responsible for the characterization, correlating design/pre- silicon expectation to actual silicon and taking care of various productization power needs of the NVIDIA GPUs and SOCs. The team responsibilities include:

  • Work with various Arch Design teams to come up with test plans of new features.
  • Work with other validation bring up teams to bring up/characterize silicon power and power saving features.
  • Work with design estimation teams to correlate with pre- silicon expectations.
  • Develop power consumption models to be used in binning, productization and customer application notes.

What you ll be doing:

  • Set- up power measurement stations and perform power measurements on GPU/SOC power rails.
  • Run test apps and test suits - both in automated and manual environments.
  • Data collection and tabulation.
  • First round analysis of data and necessary debugs.
  • Lab equipment inventory maintenance and calibrations.

What we need to see:

  • Diploma in computer hardware/any electronics stream or BSC electronics with 2+ years of work experience.
  • General knowledge of PC mother board architecture.
  • Knowledge of all Windows/Linux operating systems.
  • Hands on experience with PC hardware/software configuration and setup.
  • Experience with PC compatibility and functional testing.
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Understands SBIOS, VBIOS, Drivers.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Preferably worked in the semiconductor companies in the similar position.
  • Prior testing experience with PC peripherals and PCI- E devices.
  • Prior experience with using debugging tools (Windows Kernel Debugger/Soft- Ice).
  • Prior experience with using test equipment like DMM, DAQ, Oscilloscopes.
