And best of all, you ll be able to harness massive amounts of brainpower through our global network of technologists from around the world to tackle big challenges.Job DescriptionThe Infrastructure Development role in the Mainframe Operating Systems team, within the Enterprise Compute Services (ECS) organization, is responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of highly resilient and stable Mainframe infrastructure through automated scripting rather than manual processes. In addition to traditional Mainframe Systems Programming skills (Understanding of z/OS Concepts, JCL, JES, SDSF, VSAM, Catalog management, SMP/E, USS, Parallel Sysplex, IBM system utilities, Broadcom, BMC Compuware, and Software (AG) artifacts), the ideal candidate will have experience with software-driven systems management using various scripting languages (such as JCL, REXX, Unix Shell scripting, PYTHON, JYTHON, and zOSMF Workflows) and will also have an aptitude and a passion for developing software systems to solve complex problems through automation tools. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with RESTful APIs using Swagger (or similar framework), be passionate about technology, and open to new ideas and ways to manage Mainframe infrastructure software.QualificationsThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
