Job Description

    * Job Description Tester Responsibilities
    • Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
    • Prove for scalability and performance of a software
    • Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
    • Work with firmware developers and validation engineers
    • Develop and automate tests for software validation
    • Detect bug issues
    • Prepare file defect reports and report test progress
    • Cybersecurity/Performance testing
    Skills and Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience in performing System Verification & Validation activities
    • Bachelor of Engineering in E&E, E&C, CS, EEE, IT, or related field
    • Domain: Electrical (preferably Schneider similar experience)
    • Knowledge of LV and MV devices
    • Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, TCP/IP, Zigbee, etc.
    • experience in Automation testing tools.
    • Experience in Software development life cycle from scratch
    • Review business/software requirements and provide inputs.
    • Experience in troubleshooting or debugging the applications
    • Experience in testing of software that deals with devices
    • Hands-on Verification & Validation Plan preparation
    • Test Cases Design, Execution, Test results, analyze test results, track software testing metrics and Reporting using the dashboard
    • Experience in designing and preparing test bench setup
    • Worked with Agile Scrum teams and experience on the usage of Jira Software/ Zephyr/Xray any test management tools
    • Knowledge of at least one programming/ scripting language
    • Good communication skills, ownership, dependable, works with limited directions
    • Creative problem solver with the ability to think abstractly; strong analytic skills.
    • Experience developing and implementing a formal, structured approach for the testing and implementation of system changes utilizing tools such as, but not limited to Selenium, Jasmine, Mocha, Karma, Cucumber, Gauge, PostMan.
    • Strong understanding of the Software Development / Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC).
