Job Description

    Role and Responsibilities - Lead offshore accounting team including division of duties, performance management, motivation and empowerment- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, partnering with the business to ensure accuracy of results and balances- Responsible for client invoicing & revenue recognition as per US GAAP and as per the terms of Client Contracts/Purchase Orders.- Point of contact for all invoicing related clarifications which may come from Vertical heads/ Practice heads/Project managers or Clients.- Co-ordinate with Account managers/Practice heads/Business Ops team for Client contracts/PO.- Preparation of Revenue Forecast on monthly basis.- Responsible for accurate weekly AP & AR reports.- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting including documentation and conformity with GAAP and other regulatory requirements- Identify and record accruals for actual and pending invoice activity- Investigate significant variances within general ledger accounts- Provide support when needed for other daily accounting operations- Work with US leadership to manage requests from internal review teams and external auditors- Ad-hoc analysis as needed by Assistant Controller and ControllerSkill requirements : - Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and interact directly with managers in different location (and time zone)- Experience working in USA GAAP- Sound technical knowledge in accounting & relevant GAAPs.- Should have experience in client invoicing & revenue recognition in service sector companies, preferably in multinational IT companies.- SAP experience is preferred- Good communication skills,
