Position Overview As the Manager of Web Development you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and daily development of our corporate website. Your primary objective will be to accelerate lead generation and customer acquisition by optimizing the online user experience. You must be able to work at tactical levels and bring to the table a strong blend of creative , business and technical skills. You and your team will be responsible for all aspects of the website , including defining the user experience , overseeing development from concept to completion (e.g. mock - ups/ wireframe , testing , production) and monitoring site performance. You will manage 6 people immediately and will drive hiring and development of additional team members as needed. Project Management , people management , expertise in current web technologies and keeping yourself updated with the new technologies are going to be the key components of this role. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the corporate website and other prospect - facing web properties in support of marketing initiatives and sales objectives Stay up to date on the latest web technologies and leverage them to drive significant return on investment Set clear , measurable , aggressive goals and lead team to ensure objectives are met Identify key metrics and prepare weekly , monthly , quarterly and yearly reports to accurately measure and control program ROI Serve as the technical (front - end) owner and point person for all marketing web properties and mobile applications Work closely with the marketing team to understand marketing requirements and recommend best approaches for meeting business goals Qualifications: 8 years experience in web development , with 2 years in managerial role Good people management skills (recruiting , managing performance , distributing projects) Familiar with the following technologies and capable of effectively managing people who will work with them: PHP , Wordpress , HTML , CSS , JavaScript , JQuery , Ajax Shift timing - must work 9:30pm to 6:30am IST (North American Pacific Time Zone),
