This is a MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Project Lead Pulp and Paper role reporting to the Group Manager in Business Area India Operations Centre, Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) and will be based in Bangalore.You will be responsible for leading and developing cutting edge industrial control applications for the pulp and paper industry. You will be collaborating with teams in Singapore, Ireland, Sweden, Finland and USA. The successful candidate will have a desire to work in a global, dynamic and challenging environment and will be highly rewarded from both a career and remuneration perspective.Your responsibilities

  • Providing broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in pulp and paper industry.
  • MES project implementation in pulp and paper industry, analyzing and gathering customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions for pulp and paper MES projects.
  • Working with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects & Planning project activities with local and remote teams.
  • Working directly on development tasks, providing technical leadership, coordinate with other resources and create high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
  • Working with customers to define new opportunities for plant level applications, planning and making technological training for customer key users or internal team.
  • Capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
  • Providing strategic sales, training and customer/application support.

Your background
  • Bachelors degree or above in computer science/process control or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in MES project delivery along with knowledge of MES applications for process industry, pulp & paper industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in programming of VS c#.net, knowledge of SQL Query SQL and Basic PL/SQL on Oracle and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA and SAP BI, SAP BO.
  • Expertise in preparing Crystal reports, Oracle reports, Power BI, Linux & Windows commands knowledge for implementation.
  • Knowledge on TCP IP, OPC and FTP Protocol.
  • Basic scripting Knowledge (Java Script and VB Script).
  • Exposure to Oracle Data Ware Housing and Pentaho ETL processing.
