Also responsible for debug, productization, and support of the design.Specific Job Functions:

1. Develops comprehensive specifications for board-level and system-level products, based on a clear understanding of the function to be demonstrated.
2. Gather the technical requirements, customer specifications, developing overall architecture and design concepts.
3. Executing schematics design, conducting reviews, selection of stack-ups, maintaining design documentations, and collaborating with cross functional teams
4. Designs board-level products using industry-standard CAD tools. Schematic capture (OrCAD or Allegro Concept HDL: For Schematics Entry), PCB layout review (Allegro PCB Editor/Viewer: For Layout Review), Signal/Power Integrity and Thermal Analysis (Sigrity or Hyperlynx or ANSYS: For SI/PI Analysis).
5. Component Selection and BOM optimization experience.
6. Debug prototypes to achieve production-worthy products.
7. Mixed and Analog circuits design & analysis, using ADCs, DACs
8. Experience with using JTAG debuggers, protocol analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeter and scripting languages.
9. Interfaces with Product Development groups company-wide to provide feedback and look at common strategies on proposed new products.
10. Supports Product Engineering in resolving Customer problems which require system-level expertise. Writes and reviews detailed technical documentation.
11. Provides technical expertise for less experienced engineers.
12. Acts as a driving force in keeping development on schedule and tracking all technical requirements.

Preferred education and experience:

1. Bachelors in Electronics and Communication. (or equivalent like Electrical or Instrumentation)
2. Years of experience: 8 - 12 years
3. Must have worked on 10+ circuit design projects.
4. Experience in VRM design, regulator validation is a plus
5. Must have hands on experience on schematic design tools like Concept HDL, Allegro PCB Editor/Viewer.
6. Must know the workflow for designing and manufacturing of a circuit board (knowledge of DFM/DFT would be needed)
7. Must have knowledge of protocols and Interfaces like SPI, I2C, PCIe, USB, SATA, DDR and the like.
8. Must have experience debugging circuit boards using instruments like DSO and other lab equipment.
9. Need to have good interpersonal communication skills.
