Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesRole Purpose:

  • To develop effective and robust internal control processes by identifying opportunities and take initiatives to safeguard all financial assets, identify potential financial liabilities and risks, and maintain the reliability of all financial reporting
  • Manage UGAAP and IGAAP GL accounting, month-end closure, fixed asset management, statutory and corporate reporting including lease reporting
  • Analysis of balance sheet and profit & loss items and reporting
  • Manage end to end statutory audits for IQVIA India legal entities ~ 8 LE s
  • Manage internal audits and SOX compliance effectiveness and reporting to management
    • Principal Accountabilities:
  • Manage and review books of accounts on the core accounting system compliant with India GAAP and in compliance with all local and IQVIA Corporate accounting requirements
  • Balance sheet and Profit & Loss analysis and reporting by preparing robust MIS which includes fixed assets and leases on monthly basis for review with Finance Controllership group
  • Perform financial close process covering monthly and YTD activities
  • Identify and provide a schedule of risks to the Financial Controller for further action
  • Front facing internal & external audits till closure.
  • Effectively resolve and escalate issues, demonstrate a consistent timely track record of deliverables.
  • Ensure robust audit trail and documentation of all financial transactions.
    • Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:
  • GRE 150: Chartered Accountant or Cost accountant degree with 7 9 years relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Ind AS is preferable
    • Industry preference Healthcare / IT / IT S sector and in a multinational company environment
    • Familiarity with corporate finance, proven track record of success
    • Prior working in SAP/People Soft/Oracle will be an added advantage
    Organization Reporting & Scope:
  • This role reports to the Finance Controller.
    • Additional Requirements:
  • Must possess strong analytical and communication skills (English) and good interpersonal skill
  • Proficient in working I MS Excel
    • Ability to multi-task, business partnering with multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure Must demonstrate the highest level of ownership and personal integrity,
