Job Description

*Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience., *Key Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Perform application security reviews, threat modeling, and automated testing solutions
  • Working closely with the Development team in developing, implementing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing application security across platforms and operating systems
  • Able to prioritize and take ownership and assist the broader Application & Integration team
  • Reviewing the results of Network/Application vulnerability scans, then actioning and following up on the remediation.
  • Set up and running Web Application Scans and reporting on their results
  • Validation of reported security issues and their fixes
  • Auditing of user management and access control.
  • Assisting with the securing of cloud environments
  • Perform Functional/Nonfunctional security testing manually or by using automated tools and vulnerability checks.
  • Routinely Perform penetration testing on APIs and Applications and report the vulnerabilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Total 10+ Years of IT industry experience in systems security and QA.
  • Good understanding of OWASP Concepts
  • Sound Knowledge on Analysing Latest vulnerabilities and trends in various platforms such as cloud, Kubernetes, operating systems.
  • Hands-on Experience in Security Tools like Qualys, BurpSuite.
  • Hands-on experience of system testing with Linux environment
  • Hands-on experience in Automation framework creation from scratch with Selenium Webdriver (Java) and Cucumber.
  • Hands-on experience in Maven and GIT(VCS)
  • Good Understanding of Automation run in the CI/CD pipeline is desirable.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated, and can work with teams in various timezones.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and Debugging skills required.
  • Vital QA concepts including test case development, test execution, test report sharing, Defect filing, following up with developers to close critical items.
  • Experience in working with Distributed teams following Agile process with solid communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with tools like Jira.
  • Sound knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Participates in reviews of automated and manual tests and has the drive to enhance automation coverage, thereby minimizing manual testing.
  • Assists team members in troubleshooting the root cause of complex customer issues and implementation-related issues
  • Candidate is expected to work independently while helping the team in resolving priority issues.
