Program ManagerJob DescriptionIn this position, as a Program Manager within PSG Platform and Board Engineering organization, you will be responsible for managing programs related to reference board designs and FPGA based acceleration development platforms. You will be working as a part of the platform development team driving external partner eco-system to support programs of large scope and complexity through all the phases of project life cycle. You will be responsible for program management and on-time delivery of platforms on PSG roadmap. Scope includes managing interdependencies across multiple cross-functional teams and keeping all the stakeholders well communicated. Handles cross organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity and manages a core team. Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally. Oversees identification of tasks, dependencies, costs and communicates expectations to core team members. Creates, tracks and adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions for timely, efficient achievement of program goals. Candidate ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. You ensure appropriate progress against schedule and take remedial actions as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Candidate influences business unit or cross BU strategies relevant to program goals. You would have decision making authority at the program level and based on industry practices help set up the criteria for design and board manufacturing services to qualify partner eco-system in the areas of board designs.QualificationsShould possess a Bachelor of Engineering or a Master of Science degree in the field of Electrical or Electronics and Communication engineering having 12+ years of relevant experience. You should have strong negotiating skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Good understanding of various phases of Platform Design, Development and Deployment. Good understanding of PLC process for board development, integration and validation. Strong program management experience. Ability to drive schedule integration and track work breakdown. Proven ability to communicate issues, risks and gaps with mitigation plans. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
