SAP Digital Technology Platform Manager Job DescriptionThe primary mission of the position is to deliver SAP technologies Product implementation, stability of operation, and leading the team of SAP Experts.Five Main Accountabilities for the role: Deliver innovative, efficient and cost effective solutions to meet enterprise needs and to drive business growth and profitability. Assure secure compliant stable operations Act as Leading change agent in delivering and embrace digital strategies. Influence the prioritization of Information Technology decisions for the global businesses to ensure world class delivery and value for ITS investment Be accountable for IT costs controls and optimization (GM Mindset) Influences as a people leader across the organization and promotes a learning cultureThis position interacts with the broad DTS organization including Functional Leaders, Business Partners, Strategy/Architecture, Applications, Cyber Security, Project Management Office, Infra Technology lead, Database Lead and Internal Controls. This leader and her/his team will also routinely work directly with the business.Autonomy: This position works under broad direction and is fully accountable for their own technical work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. Assignments are received in the form of objectives. Work is often self-initiated. Influence: The incumbent influences across the DTS organization, internal customers, external partners and peers. This role must build trust through authentic, open communication, listening and understanding and valuing diverse perspectives.Complexity: This role performs a challenging range and variety of complex professional work activities requiring the ability to understand a variety of technical situations, terminology, and platforms. The successful candidate must be able to ask appropriate questions and establish credibility with technical subject matter experts as well as IT and business leaders. Cross-functional experience in IT delivery is preferred. In addition, this role also has the advantage of being able to see business processes from the ground up and recommend ways to appropriately secure them.Business Skills: The incumbent analyzes, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. The incumbent analyzes requirements and advises on scope and options for improvements, demonstrating creativity and innovation in applying solutions.Key AccountabilitiesGlobal Application Delivery Define, analyze, and deliver business initiatives in accordance with business and IT priorities and annual budgets.Business-IT Strategy - Promote and support the long-range IT systems plan consistent with business objectives. Support and facilitate the alignment of corporate IT strategy to business strategies.Information and Digital Technologies Leadership - Represent the face of IT to the customer. Identify technology opportunities which provide strategic/tactical advantages in planning, managing and conducting the business. Review industry trends, customer requirements and business objectives to define guidelines for SAP environment stability and transformation.Leading and Influencing People/Coaching and Supervising Others - Provide supervision to SAP experts and external partners which include objective settings, performance management, guide/assist in difficult situation and coach/train team members.Demonstrates deep learning agility and promotes a learning culture. Acts and influences as a people leader across the organization. Takes personal accountability for self-development, while building and developing talent around them.Provides Business Technology thought leadership, bringing knowledge and solutions to drive business outcomes. Thinks digital and embraces next generation ways of doing work.Basic Qualifications

  • B.S., B. A. degree. A master s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. 8-12 years of relevant SAP Basis and Infrastructure experience, including leading and managing projects or programs with outcome focused deliverables, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of IT leadership experience of leading large, remote, global teams.
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills
  • Significant experience working with outsource partners.
  • Expertise in SAP technologies: SAP Basis, ECC, S4, DB HANA, SOLMAN, SAP ABAP, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, SAP Web Dispatcher, SSO 3.0 Solutions, SAP Data Services,
  • Deep knowledge of SAP system installations and administration, as well as deep understanding of the SAP architecture and multiple application modules, particularly strong SAP NetWeaver platform knowledge.
  • Experience of implementing and managing SAP on cloud platform
  • Experience with Solution Manager and transport management processes; experience defining / operating SAP transport paths in a complex technical architecture
  • Experience with system sizing, storage management, database sizing/management, backups, and disaster recovery for SAP systems
  • Expertise with SAP Tuning, Troubleshooting, Debugging related to system performance is required
  • Experience with technical project management and / or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and control activities
  • Proven track record for completing projects in specified deadlines
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently, as required
  • Demonstrated high level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate technical and non-technical information, ideas, procedures and processes
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, and with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization how current trends and technology can address identified business needs and capabilities
  • Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one full life cycle implementation experience of either blue or green field S/4 HANA implementation
  • Implementation and support of SAP systems in a Hyper-scaler environment
  • Experience leveraging middleware solutions like Mulesoft/ Automation tools (BluePrism/ Automation anywhere)
  • Experience with implementing Dashboards, KPI implementation to report out on support activities
  • Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure, network, and operating systems.
  • SAP Certification / ITIL Certification / Cloud Environment
