This Human Resources leader brings well-rounded business partner experiences to address the needs of our growing India team in coordination with our global people strategy at a complex hyper-growth technology company. This will require sufficient understanding of all aspects of human resources but deep expertise in business partnerships, recruitment, compliance and total rewards in India. Additional depth in organizational design, leadership and talent development a huge plus. The candidate will be a structured thinker and possess sound business judgment / acumen, enabling him/her to contribute, as a member of the regional leadership team, from more than just the People standpoint. Previous roles in both private (operating in the small but planning and building for the large) and public companies (operating at scale with agility and flexibility) would be beneficial, but not required. The candidate may come out of any sub-sector within Technology, but experience with database and/or data analytics businesses is ideal. S/he will bring a deep understanding of how to attract and retain high quality talent as our business expands headcount and revenue rapidly.S/he will be both strategic, in terms of seeing around corners and planning for the People implications of business growth, as well as operational, willing to roll up his/her sleeves and work with the team in a hands-on way to implement People-related programs. The ideal candidate will bring a variety of experiences working with businesses across the growth/maturity spectrum and have experience with organizations that have a strong reputation for employee experience and high-caliber talent. S/he will possess strong influencing skills and will also have experience in an HR leadership team that scaled rapidly and well. The ideal candidate will be able to point to a track record of innovation and thought-leadership within the People function, not simply overlaying traditional paradigms and approaches that have worked for other companies. The candidate will bring strong collaboration, teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and will reflect good alignment to Couchbase s culture.Key Deliverables
