Delivery of Client SatisfactionTo manage the current and future property portfolio supply and demand for a specific client at the business unit level and manage the local Occupancy Planning team and/or Associate Occupancy Planners.Responsibilities- Engage and foster excellent working relationships with key client stakeholders which include business unit and facilities / real estate leadership- Align real estate supply and demand with business unit growth strategies- Facilitate collaboration between the Planning team and other key project stakeholders- Assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership- Lead space planning initiatives and recommendations for action or consideration by the client;- Escalation point for planning issues;- Ensures planning is aligned with corporate guidelines, and that all scenarios maximize space efficiencies- Recommends, educates and enforces space policies/standards, procedures and protocols and notifies client of customer requested exceptions;- As necessary, participate in project and move coordination planning meetings;- Provide regular reporting and insights into the real estate portfolio current state- Investigate and implement advanced reporting solutions to give insights into actual utilization of space- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize and maximize property portfolio efficiencies. These could include technology solutions, and collaborative efforts between other teams/functions.Interaction:To ensure accurate reporting of information, and foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations, communication channels will exist with:- Business Unit leadership to collect headcount forecasts, resolve headcount forecast discrepancies between leadership s numbers and those collected at the group-level;- Facilities / Real Estate leadership to review and resolve planning forecasts, needs, concerns, and issues;- Collaborate with Project Management and Facility Management as related to the moves and migration of personnel that impact projects as a whole;- Project management to review stacking strategies and to provide workload forecast related to project moves that are planned to occur based on occupancy plans/strategy;- Move Coordination team to review and approve moves, develop migration plans and conduct facility audits (region specific);- Work with the Occupancy Planning team to ensure cross campus/portfolio strategy plans are developed.Sound like you To apply, you need to be:Technology Proficient:Ability to utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with planning team and lines of businesses:- Proficient in AutoCAD and be able to design conceptual office test-fits- Proficient in Archibus or in a current CAFM program- Proficient in Microsoft Excel i.e. (V-Lookups, cell calculations, etc.)- Ability to consolidate data and floor plans into Power Point for presentations to client and lines of business.- Strong ability to work in all of the Microsoft Office suite software technologyEducation / Years of Experience:- Tertiary Degree in Real Estate; Construction; Architecture / Design related field- Minimum of 10 - 12 years experience in facilities planning, project management, interior design in a corporate environment.
