Job DescriptionSnr Data Aggregator or Data Analyst-JobLevel-AnalystBackgroundExposure Management is a new, exciting, high profile and fast growing area of the business. The team work closely with the Alesco Wholesale broking units as well as with Lloyds and London Market Insurers providing cleansed and structured exposure data, as well as internal and external analytics on the impact of Natural Catastrophe and non-Natural Catastrophe events to ensure Alesco clients understand and can mitigate their exposure to these events through the purchase of the appropriate insurance protections across multiple lines of business.Principle DutiesCleanse, enrich and geocode clients exposure data & import it into bespoke Exposure Management softwareUnderstand and input complex insurance structures across multiple lines of business into the softwareEnsure data quality is of the highest standard and all necessary quality checks are performedEnsure internal and external KPIs are metAdditional dutiesPrepare carrier submissions in the appropriate format on a per risk and portfolio basisAssist in the creation of bespoke analytics to help clients & carriers understand their exposure to Natural Catastrophe and non-Natural Catastrophe eventsAssist in the production of internal analytics at a per risk and portfolio level to help identify new business opportunitiesAssist in the development of spatial analytics and Power BI exposure dashboards for internal useHelp test and upgrade Exposure Management software as requiredSkills and AttributesKnowledge of LMP slips & the Lloyds and London Insurance MarketTechnical understanding of data enrichment, manipulation and data cleansing best practicesAbility to work quickly and precisely with large data setsA keen interest in data and Natural CatastrophesSelf-MotivatedGood communication skillsProactive in finding solutions to problems without waiting to be prompted by othersGood MS office skills particularly Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of GIS softwareSQL and database structure knowledge is preferred but not essential
