You will be responsible for following but not limited to: Actively participating in all major stages of software development lifecycle, e.g., requirements definition, research/exploration, implementation, validation, post-release support activities Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements. Propose, analyze, and debug ideas for solutions to solve real world technology problems. Creating and maintaining software design documentation Implementing, unit testing and debugging software according to specifications and conforming to the coding standards Participation in code review, code analysis, requirements analysis, risk analysis, code profiling and tuning Performing majority of tasks in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidatesQualificationsMinimum Qualifications- You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Master of Science degree Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and at least 6+ years of experience - Requires hands-on experience with designing a micro service-based architecture, container deployments and management tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.- Software engineering, JAVA/C++/C skills.- Good understanding of scripting languages like Python and GO. - Good understanding of Yacto build environment and Dockers is a plus- Understanding of Message buses like MQTT, OPC-UA, AMQP, DDS etc.- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL database, JSON data model, JSON/Google RPC etc. is a plus- Low level HW/SW system debug of embedded SW. - Good problem solving, debug and reverse-engineering skills as well as a Good team player- A quick learner, self-motivated to work independently on designing new software - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) - Required behavioral skills include strong results orientation, problem solving, and written and verbal communication.- Knowledge of source code management systems: Git experience is a plusDesired Qualifications: o Knowledge of open-source Edge and cloud computing software like Open stack, EdgeXo Knowledge of embedded RTOS, YACTO Linux and Containerized operating systemso Knowledge of IOT messaging protocols, Dockers, Docker swarm/Kubernetes, and any other orchestration software. o Familiarity with x86 and ARM architectureo Exposure to Computer Vision, speech to text converter, Natural Language processing and Text to speech convert technologies a big plusInside this Business GroupThe Internet of Things Group (IOTG) consists of ~4700 dedicated employees across 25 locations across the world.
