Job Description

The Equities Derivatives Technology department is looking for strong technologists to join their Post Trade Risk Technology team in India. Candidate is expected to be an expert Core Java developer, possess strong inter-personal skills and must have a proven track record of delivering projects with highest code quality and timeliness.This role will cover a number of aspects including but not limited to:

  • Development of Strategic Post Trade Risk Management Systems which involves re-engineering and enhancing the current stack.
  • Designing software and producing scalable and resilient technical designs honouring low latency and high throughput requirements.
  • Analyse and understand business requirements thoroughly and come up with clean solutions.
  • Adhere to test driven development - writing clean code with appropriate unit tests and automated end to end tests as well.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ year experience in building High performance Server Side Components/Services using Java.
  • Exposure on standard open source frameworks like Spring.
  • Exposure on message/event driven applications using any standard messaging APIs like JMS, etc.
  • Comfortable working with Linux based environments.
  • Experience with any RDMS like Sybase, Oracle, etc.
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to Jenkins, Maven, GIT or similar source control systems.
  • Experience in Agile development.
  • Prior experience in working with global development teams.
