React UI Developer AssociateJ.P. Morgan is well known global leader across banking, markets and investor services who has technology at the heart of what we do. Youll be working on our client facing website providing best in class analytics for Cross-Asset class investments.You love nothing better than well-tested code automatically built and deployed that creates a great user experience. The stack includes HTML5, CSS, React, Apollo client and graphql.The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn about the Investable Indices business across multiple asset classes and work with other talented engineers.If you want to develop great websites and make them work in real environments, working in a collaborative style, with the ability to make a visible impact in a global corporation, this is the role youve been waiting for.What we will do for you:

Roles and responsibilitiesWe organize ourselves into feature delivery teams with a mixture of UX, frontend, integration and backend developers working collectively towards a business delivery. Your role would be to act as the UI developer in the feature team helping to build the vision of the UX team. This will entail collaborating with the team to form the sprints that will get us to the MVP and then finally the target state. You will lead the UI development everything from forming the initial mocks through to the final production delivery. You will also collaborate with other UI developers to get involved with code reviews and building up our catalogue of UI components to facilitate faster development. Technical Skills:
  • React UI (react-hooks, props etc.)
  • Typescript
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • Graphql
  • GIT
  • Automated Build and Unit Testing
Desirable:-
  • Python or Java
  • Mock ups (wireframes and flats)
