Job Description

The roles and responsibilities will include engaging in daily Tapeout Operations such as Design Rule Check (DRC), DataPrep, etc. activities and also assistance to the team to make sure RTM happens on time. Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction and the Process Evolution are the other quality driven activities to improve the Tapeout Operations and TAT Efficiency. Having Exceptional problem Solving and analytical Skills with the Decent Scripting skills help improve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which Management track and report as key organization metrics.Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced and quickly evolving team environment. The ideal candidate must exhibit strength in engineering fundamentals, such as semiconductor devices, and have strong problem solving, teamwork, project Management, and exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).Job will require some weekend rotations, holiday Coverage and some travel may be required. Candidates should be ready to work in Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu kind of shiftsJob Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Daily Tapeout Operations activities such as DRC and Data prep
  • To work closely with OPC Team, Tapeout Logistics & Integration Team, Tapeout Integration Team and Product Life Cycle Management Team for the facilitation of clean Tapeout to mask RTM process.
  • Collaborate with Global Tapeout Operations Teams to development and Implement work improvement methods or methodologies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve cycle times.
  • Solve complex technical problems and contribute to multiple projects at the same time. Demonstrate strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and work with urgency on both Tactical and Strategic Problems.
  • Develop Documentation of Best Practices and flow Training Material and ensure smooth operation of TOC mission through the establishment of robust training and execution processes with clear SOP and Quality Systems in place
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
, *Required Qualifications:
  • Master s Degree (MS/MTech) plus min 1 years of Experience or Bachelor s Degree plus 3yrs of Experience with Specialization in Electrical (VLSI, Microelectronics and related) or Materials Science, Solid State Physics or Other relevant Engineering or Physical Science
  • Travel 5% of travel in a year might be required
  • Language Fluency Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Physical Capacity Demands Available 24/7 throughout the year
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to Semiconductor Process or Layout Design Engineering
  • Familiarity with Product Layouts, KERF or FRAME Design, EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Caliber are highly desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Exceptional Spoken and Written Proficiency in English
  • Should be flexible as a Team Player and motivated as an Individual Contributor
  • Preferred a Candidate with Scripting Skills on Python or Pearl or any other equivalent skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
