The Maersk Windows Cloud Engineer role within Technology Operations is focused on incident response and user request fulfilment for all services running within the managed Maersk estate. You will need to ensure that systems remain compliant and available.You will be a member of a support team providing resources to address issues and incidents raised by Maersk s application teams and to support digital capabilities across the businessWe re developing and managing modern service offerings using modern technology to enable our business to go all the way.You will need to keep abreast of all new Microsoft Windows updates and services. Show More We offerShow More Key responsibilitiesProviding 24 x 7 cover for Windows estate Ensuring that SOP s and knowledge articles exist for all deployed technologies. Install/ Configure/ Maintain Windows Servers Install/ Configure/ Maintain Windows IIS and FileServers Install/ Configure/ Maintain Windows10 estate Preparing and installing Windows O/S patches Ensuring that the platform is fully patched. Ensure that solutions are supportable in a scalable way without significant human intervention. Responsible for the availability and performance of solutions hosted in various Maersk estates. Maintain a wide depth and breadth of Windows technology knowledge across the estate. Document, communicate and log follow up actions for later triage, prioritisation and action to avoid reoccurrences. Manage Windows Build and release pipelines Maintain awareness of the forward schedule of change and changes actively in play or recently completed such that this awareness can be leveraged in the event of an incident occurring on the same or impacted platforms.
