TechOps Team Lead Cloud EngineerIHSM Cloud Platform Services is looking for a Senior Technical Operations - Cloud Engineer to join a global team of Cloud Engineers to support our growing Cloud Services client base. The role will be focused on driving operational growth, scaling and efficiencies for all technical operational processes related to our Cloud Services and related client base. Also required to give insight into and drive the implementation of into infrastructure automation, CI/CD and DevOps across the solutions business this will be achieved by working with our various Product DevOps teams.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Cloud Engineers focused on technically implementation/improving our Cloud Operational processes relating to our technical platforms.
• Responsible with engaging various business stakeholders in achieving objectives (product DevOps teams, Cloud Operations for BAU, customers).
• Set objectives for the team and is responsible for managing the delivery.
• Relevant experience as a systems administrator in a systems operations role
• Ability to work with virtualization technology
• Working with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the Hosted and Managed Services cloud platform
• Be responsible for the planning, implementation and growth of the AWS cloud hosted infrastructure
• Work alongside architecture and product engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services
• Ability to translate architectural requirements
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
• Experience in monitoring and auditing systems
• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)
• Knowhow to implement and control the flow of data, to and from a service provider
• Capability to select the appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements
• Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
• Capability to migrate on-premises workload to service providers
• Training teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
• Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.
• Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms throughout the platform team.
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary
• Recommend process and architecture improvements
• Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

Cloud Engineer Skills/Requirements:

• AWS certifications
• Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC.
• Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace
• Interest in Cloud Engineering and its impact on greater business practices.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
• Citrix experience will be useful.
