Job Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Communication Technology Group (CTG) develops and delivers infrastructure and software solutions for the Communication Industry. Within HPE CTG, our RAN Automation group develops innovative software solutions that automate the Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure, applications and services. Our solution runs natively in a cloud environment and embarks different product components of CTG. It is targeting the Open RAN standards that are transforming the Radio Access Network Industry towards open, intelligent, virtualized and fully interoperable RAN.In this context, we are looking for a Software Engineer with a proven knowledge and experience in Telecommunication Networks to join our development team and help us to build this solution assembling multiple CMS products part of the 5G Assurance Automation (5GAA) i.e. Model & Inventory Translation (MIT) to manage inventory and instance management, micro Unified Correlation & Automation (mUCA) to manage correlation rules and decision tree, and micro TeMIP (mTeMIP) to manage problem and alarm lifecycle.Responsibilities Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality software Makes design choices and finalizes the design for new feature development Owns design, coding, unit/functional testing, integration and documentation activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines Integrate into the solution with a hybrid cloud environment (containers, VMs) Integrate an Infrastructure automation product to consolidate model and instances in a common model. Integrates network alarms and its lifecycle operations. Integrate the event processing and develop UCA correlation value pack to describe inferences rules, decision tree rules to apply actions and implement these custom actions (java). Interface with Integration and system teams who require infrastructure support for their CICD chain and testing.Education and Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 5-8 years experience.
Required Skills
  • Designing software applications running on multiple platform types with micro-services approach.
  • Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
  • Experience on development or integration of enterprise-grade applications
  • Quick learner on new products and tools.
  • Ability to work with teams with agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe). SAFe certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • OS: RedHat Linux, CentOS Linux, Windows
  • Cloud infrastructure: K8s Vanilla, AWS, Redhat Openshift, Docker
  • Cloud deployment: Helm
  • Database: Cassandra, Kairos DB, Neo4j.
