Job Description

    As a skilled and proactive Procurement Manager, your role will involve leading procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services while maintaining quality and compliance. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize procurement processes to support business operations and strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals for cost savings and efficiency.- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, purchase order creation, and contract management.- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.- Monitor supplier performance, conduct reviews, and resolve supply chain issues or disputes.- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and innovations.- Lead and mentor procurement team members to enhance skills and productivity.- Prepare procurement reports, present insights to senior management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors/masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.- Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements.- Excellent understanding of procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).- Good knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.- Leadership qualities with experience managing a team.,
