Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will be instrumental in developing project plans, schedules, and coordinating resources to ensure the successful execution of road construction projects.Responsibilities:1. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and schedules in coordination with the project management team. Analyze project requirements, objectives, and constraints to develop effective plans.2. Schedule Management: Monitor project progress against established schedules and milestones.. Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.3. Resource Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure optimal resource utilization to meet project timelines and budget constraints.4. Risk Assessment: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans in collaboration with the project team. Proactively address potential issues to minimize project delays and cost overruns.5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.6. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather project information and requirements. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding project planning matters.7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in project planning and management. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmental processes and procedures.Qualifications: Masters degree in civil engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, in the road construction industry. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
