Job Description

As a Data Scientist at Bharti Airtel Ltd., located in Gurgaon within the Network department, your role revolves around leveraging your Telecom Radio Domain expertise to drive network intelligence, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities include:- Utilizing your deep Telecom RAN knowledge to design AI-driven network optimization and automation solutions, develop advanced analytics models for network performance, coverage optimization, anomaly detection, and capacity planning.- Designing and deploying Machine Learning, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions for telecom use cases, developing models using Python, PySpark, and distributed data frameworks, applying predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning for network automation.In addition to the technical aspects, you will also be involved in product and program leadership, where you will define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for telecom AI/analytics platforms, lead cross-functional teams, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, and drive stakeholder alignment across various teams.Your role will require you to possess strong expertise in RAN / RF Engineering (4G/5G), experience in network KPIs, drive testing, planning tools, SON, and optimization in the Telecom Domain. Additionally, you should have proficiency in Machine Learning & Deep Learning, GenAI, and Agentic AI applications in the AI / Data Science domain, along with advanced programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and API development / automation frameworks.Preferred qualifications for this role include having 6 years of telecom experience with a strong RAN background, 1-3 years of experience in Data Science / AI / Analytics, experience building telecom AI platforms or network automation tools, exposure to cloud platforms and MLOps frameworks, and experience leading cross-functional digital transformation programs.If you are passionate about utilizing your expertise in Telecom and AI/Data Science domains to drive innovation and transformation in the network intelligence space, this role at Bharti Airtel Ltd. could be an exciting opportunity for you.
