Job Description

As a Faculty member at Rishihood University, you will have full teaching ownership of the Core Software Engineering track for the B. Tech CS and Data Science programme. Your role will involve defining the curriculum direction, building the faculty team, and establishing connections with industry partners to incorporate real-world problems into the classroom. You will not just be executing someone elses vision but will have the opportunity to build your own path within the university.Key Responsibilities:- Teach Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming in C, and Python with a focus on understanding the underlying concepts.- Develop practical labs where students can implement data structures from scratch and learn about efficiency in practice.- Organize monthly demo days and structured critique sessions to foster honest self-assessment among students.- Lead the competitive programming cell, preparing students for competitions like ACM ICPC and GSoC.- Take charge of the CS Foundations curriculum as Track Lead, recruit junior faculty, and set high academic standards for this track.Qualification Required:- Hold an MTech, PhD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field. Technical expertise is valued more than just academic qualifications.- Possess expert-level proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms, including complexity analysis, dynamic programming, and graph theory.- Demonstrate deep understanding of C Object-Oriented Programming, covering areas like memory management, pointers, STL, polymorphism, and design patterns.- Exhibit strong fluency in Python and a solid grasp of Low-Level Design (LLD) and system design at an architectural level.Additional Details of the Company:Rishihood University is Indias first and only impact university, aiming to go beyond awarding degrees and jobs by focusing on achieving the highest potential in learners.
