You are an early-stage startup in Noida (Sector 65) with a focus on building a Skill Augmentation Platform to revolutionize individual and organizational growth. As a fast-paced and product-driven organization, you are seeking a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead your engineering function with a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Engineering Leadership** - Define the engineering roadmap in alignment with business goals - Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team - Implement best practices in code quality, CI/CD, and testing - Collaborate with the leadership team for seamless product execution- **AI & Product Innovation** - Develop AI-powered features utilizing LLMs and agent frameworks - Create RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and automation processes - Promote AI-assisted development practices within the team- **Backend & Systems** - Architect scalable and high-availability systems targeting 99.9% uptime - Design microservices and event-driven architectures - Utilize technologies like Kafka, Redis, and distributed systems- **Full-Stack Ownership** - Provide guidance on frontend architecture leveraging React / Next.js - Enhance performance, user experience, and developer satisfaction- **Infrastructure & DevOps** - Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/GCP/Azure - Establish CI/CD pipelines and observability systems - Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the platform**What Were Looking For:**- 812 years of software engineering experience- 23 years in leadership positions- Proficiency in building scalable products with over 1 million users- Strong hands-on expertise in AI/LLMs, backend development, and system design- A startup mindset with a focus on ownership and execution**Tech Stack:**- **AI/ML:** OpenAI, LangChain, RAG, Vector Databases- **Backend:** Node.js, Python, Go- **Frontend:** React, Next.js, TypeScript- **Infrastructure:** AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform- **Data:** PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch**Bonus Skills:**- Experience in startups or early-stage environments- Contributions to open-source projects- Familiarity with real-time systems or SaaS platformsIn return for your contribution, you will receive early-stage equity, a competitive salary, health benefits, and the opportunity for direct collaboration with founders.
