R&D Manager - Data Science

Job Description

As a Data Scientist in this role, you will be responsible for carrying out activities within your area of expertise of data and digital tools. Your key responsibilities will include:- Contributing to R&D projects by implementing your technical and cross-functional skills.- Performing statistical and data analyses to support lab teams, including method validations, design of experiments, interactive data visualizations, and statistical interpretation of results.- Applying data science analyses on specific R&D project datasets, including dataset preparation and quality checks, data visualization, unsupervised exploratory analysis, and predictive model building.- Communicating results and findings to multidisciplinary R&D project teams and discussing next steps. You will also be required to write reports on work performed and document software code.- Holding the role of data steward by helping teams apply our entitys Data Governance and teaching recommended data management practices.- Monitoring and developing labs data management infrastructure in close association with our entitys data engineers, including automated instrument data capture flows and data visualization services.- Coordinating all stakeholders involved in your study and reporting research results in writing and/or through internal/external presentations.- Proposing new data tools and actively contributing to the exchange of ideas.Your purpose in this role will be to conduct the Projects R&D activities in accordance with the multi-year program defined and approved by the project manager and program manager. You will be responsible for carrying out various actions under your responsibility, contributing to resolving standard problems in accordance with the R&D project objectives, and transferring knowledge to the Researchers. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the technical development of your field, share your technical skills to advance your team and the R&D projects you contribute to, and adapt your skill level understanding the needs.(Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.)
