As a Senior Logistics Operations Manager at our client, a leading national provider of supply chain and logistics services in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, managing transportation networks, and ensuring efficient flow of goods from origin to destination. Your deep understanding of supply chain management principles and extensive experience in warehouse operations, fleet management, and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and enhancing operational efficiency.Responsibilities:- Manage and optimize day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.- Oversee transportation logistics, including carrier management, route optimization, and fleet management.- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics coordinators to foster high performance and safety culture.- Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems and procedures for accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and improvement opportunities.- Implement lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.- Develop and manage operational budgets for cost-effectiveness and profitability.- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners for seamless supply chain operations.- Utilize WMS and TMS software effectively to manage operations and drive efficiency.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
