Job Description

    As a Senior Retail Operations Manager for our client, a leading retailer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing operations across multiple stores in and around Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN. Your responsibility is to ensure exceptional customer experiences, maximize profitability, and drive operational excellence throughout the retail network. Working closely with store managers, regional management, and corporate teams, you will be instrumental in achieving business objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve store profitability.- Manage, train, and motivate store managers and their teams to achieve performance goals.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, foot traffic, conversion rates, and inventory turnover, implementing strategies for improvement.- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, visual merchandising standards, and operational best practices.- Manage inventory levels, implement effective stock control measures, and minimize stock discrepancies.- Oversee store staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning for adequate coverage and efficient labor utilization.- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for development.- Implement and enforce all health, safety, and security protocols within the retail environment.- Manage store budgets, control operational expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches effectively.- Drive a culture of exceptional customer service and continuous improvement within all managed stores.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in retail management, with a significant portion in multi-unit store management.- Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets in a retail environment.- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service principles.- Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills.- Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and MS Office Suite.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.- Ability to travel regularly within the designated region of Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN.- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive operational improvements.- Passion for the retail industry and delivering outstanding customer experiences.This challenging and rewarding opportunity offers you a chance to lead and grow with a prominent retail organization.
