Role Overview:You will be responsible for providing strong technology leadership to work closely with the Product Owner to successfully deliver the product features. You will examine applications to ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes, and procedures by actively participating in design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness reviews. Collaborating with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals will be a key aspect of your role. You will utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies to ensure applications are suitably fit for use and admissible for maintenance/upgrades. In addition, evaluating service level issues and suggested enhancements escalated by the Service Delivery Team to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies will be part of your responsibilities. A financial services software delivery background is desirable for this position.Key Responsibilities:- Minimum 8 years of experience with a sound foundation of best practices of application design, implementation, and architecture disciplines- Strong in Java/J2EE technologies and well-versed in Java design patterns- Experience working with JDK 1.8, Maven, and GIT BitBucket- Strong experience in the Spring ecosystem to build best-in-class event-driven microservices platforms- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs- Minimum 1 year of experience in working with event-based systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ- Minimum 1 year of experience on AWS- Minimum 1 year of experience in a no-SQL database like Aurora etc.- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving approach- Strong understanding of architecture and design of large enterprise systems- Self-driven and motivate teams to drive excellence- Good communication skills.
